SAPOL – Body located at Murbko

Police are investigating after a man’s body was located in the Murray Mallee this morning.

About 11.30pm on Thursday 22 April, police and fire crews were called to Murbko after reports of a reed fire near the river edge.

As a result of an investigation into the cause of the fire, just before 11am today (Friday 23 April), police located a man’s body at the foot of cliffs, approximately 7km north of Blanchetown.

At this time police need to conduct further investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding the man’s death.

There are no further details known at this time.
