Festival Fleurieu has council support on the Village Green | The Times



Festival Fleurieu will be held in April and The Village Green at Normanville will host the opening day fair.

At the January Yankalilla council meeting Desmond Ford (chair) and Libby Robertson addressed elected members on the plans for the festival and the economic and social wellbeing benefits it brings to the Western Fleurieu.

Councillor David Olsson was pleased with the deputation.

“It looks like it will be an exciting program and The Village Green will be its epi-centre,” Cr Olsson said.

Councillor Simon Rothwell said it was exciting The Village Green was to be used so soon after being established.

Every two years Festival Fleurieu brings together interested groups to celebrate the creative people, supportive communities, proud heritage…
